From strategy to a plan someone owns.

What changes for you

What changes.

Priorities you can explain

Investment is ranked by risk and value, with the reasoning visible.

A clear line from objective to asset

See which objective each funded line serves, and which objectives have no plan behind them.

Plans that stay current

Owners and review dates keep plans from going stale.

Who it helps

Different people, one shared picture.

Investment planning and plan records are ready to pilot with your own data. These are the people PlanIQ is for.

Asset and engineering manager

Rank investment by risk and value, with the reasoning visible, and see which assets move when a budget or weight changes.

Asset-management planner

Plans with owners and review dates, built from the register you already hold, with evidence packs from the same numbers.

CFO and finance team

See what deferring work costs, where extra spend stops paying off, and which funded line serves which objective.

Executive and board

A plan you can explain: from objective to asset, with what is funded and what has no plan behind it.

Auditor or governance lead

Approval with separation of duties, a record of every decision, and evidence that can be checked later.

Regulatory and funding submissions team

Evidence packs built from the same numbers as the plan, ready to support a regulator or funding submission.

Who it is for: Asset and engineering managers, asset-management planners, and finance and executive leaders who need an investment plan that can be explained and reviewed.

Capabilities

What it does.

Risk-ranked priorities

Rank assets and treatments using risk models by asset class.

Budget what-ifs

Change a budget or a weight and see which assets move before anything is saved.

Objective-to-asset traceability

Trace each funded line back to the objective it serves.

Evidence shown honestly

Where data is missing, scores show the range the gaps allow instead of one false number.

Approval with separation of duties

People cannot approve their own plan, and every decision is recorded.

Evidence packs

Produce review and approval material from the same numbers as the plan.

Richer plan documents

Planned; not yet available. Plans are held today as records with owners, versions, review and second-person approval.

How it works

4 steps.

  1. Bring your registerStart from an export of the asset data you already hold.
  2. Score and rankRisk and priority are worked out per asset.
  3. Build the planPriorities, owners and review dates are set against objectives.
  4. Review and approvePlans are reviewed, approved and kept current.

Works with: Starts from an export of the asset data you already hold, including from SAP. PlanIQ helps decide what to fund; it is not a maintenance system and does not execute the work.

Film: from objective to approved plan. A short film on building a plan.

Governance and compliance

A plan that can be explained and checked.

PlanIQ is designed so a plan can be explained and checked.

Separation of duties

People cannot approve their own plan, and every decision is recorded.

Sealed evidence

Evidence packs are sealed so anyone can check they have not changed since approval.

Honest about gaps

Where evidence is missing, scores show the range the gaps allow instead of one false number, and each pack states its own status.

PlanIQ is designed in line with ISO 55000 asset-management ideas and ISO 8000-8 style data quality. It is aligned, not certified, and any method is confirmed against your own standard during delivery. It supports regulator and funding submissions; it does not guarantee their outcome.

How it pays back

Where the value is intended to show up.

Spend

The same budget aimed at the highest risk and value, with the cost of deferral made visible. Reallocating money is not a saving by itself, so we measure against your current approach.

Revenue and funding

Evidence packs and a clear line from objective to asset support funding cases, regulator submissions and grant applications.

Risk

Missing evidence is shown, not hidden, so decisions are not made on false confidence. Decisions and approvals leave a record.

PlanIQ is releasing soon, so these are intended outcomes and not results. We do not quote savings percentages; we agree how to measure the benefit against your current approach.

FAQs

Questions we are asked.

Is PlanIQ available now?

Investment planning and plan records are ready to pilot with your own data, delivered today through the AIPP product. Richer plan documents are planned and are not yet available. We confirm scope, availability and integration needs before agreeing any engagement.

Why does the product site say AIPP?

AIPP is the product that delivers PlanIQ today, so the product site uses that name. PlanIQ is the single name for the offering.

Do we need to move off our maintenance system?

No. PlanIQ starts from data you already hold, such as an export from the systems you run.

Is PlanIQ a maintenance system?

No. It supports planning and investment decisions. Work is still done in your maintenance system.

Who in our organisation benefits?

Asset managers and planners get ranked priorities and owned plans. Finance sees the cost of deferral and what each dollar serves. Executives get a plan they can explain. Governance and audit get approvals and sealed evidence.

What if some of our data is missing?

Missing evidence is shown as a range rather than hidden, and the plan points to what to measure next.

Can it support regulator or funding submissions?

It produces evidence packs from the same numbers as the plan. Pack content is confirmed against your requirements during delivery, and it does not guarantee any outcome.

How does it pay back?

By aiming a budget at the highest risk and value, showing the cost of deferral, and giving you evidence for funding cases. We agree how to measure it against your current approach.

Which standards does it relate to?

It is designed in line with ISO 55000 ideas and ISO 8000-8 style data quality. These are alignments, not certifications.

How would we start?

With a focused look at one asset class on an export of your register. Terms and scope are agreed in discovery.

How do we find out more?
